How long does it take to build a home with Eaglewood?

Typically our construction period is around four months, including the time required to create construction drawings and obtain a building permit. Smaller homes may require less and larger homes may require longer.


Does Eaglewood build custom homes?

Yes, that's one of the beautiful things about having an in-house designer! Our designer will sit down with you, discuss your ideas, and typically have concept drawings complete within a few days. These are services we provide free of charge for those who build with us.


Can I make modifications to an existing Eaglewood plan?

Sure, as long as the lot you choose accommodates the change and the changes are within the standards of the architectural control committee and covenants of the community. Again, these services are provided free of charge.


WHAT ARE MY OPTIONS FOR FINISHES IN MY HOME?

Your options are endless. If you need a starting point, however, we do have several pre-defined finish packages you can use or modify. Our interior designers can also give advice or create a package for you if needed. Our design studio is filled with exciting selections to make your home reflect your style! We provide these interior design services free of charge to our clients.


WILL Eaglewood BUILD ON A LOT I ALREADY OWN?

Yes, we don't just build homes in our featured communities. If you already own a lot or know of a lot that's available for purchase we would love to build a home on it for you! We can also build on acreage lots where wells and septic systems are required.


DO I NEED TO BE PRE-QUALIFIED FOR FINANCING BEFORE MEETING WITH Eaglewood Homes?

No, if you haven't had a chance to look into financing yet we can help you with that. We have preferred lenders that work closely with us to ensure you get the best rates and service available.


DO I NEED TO HAVE A REALTOR BEFORE MEETING WITH Eaglewood?

No, although we welcome realtors at all times, we also work directly with clients that do not have a realtor. Many of the communities we build in are marketed by real estate agents who assist in coordinating sales and creating contracts.


DOES Eaglewood REQUIRE A DEPOSIT OR EARNEST MONEY TO BUILD A CUSTOM HOME?

Yes, a custom build with Eaglewood usually requires a 5% non-refundable deposit due at the start of construction. The exact amount may vary depending on the nature of the project.


Does Eaglewood provide a home warranty?

Yes, we offer the best warranty in the business! We take a proactive approach to warranty and do multiple walk-throughs with you at your home to demonstrate how systems work and address any concerns you may have. We want to make sure our homeowners are completely satisfied and love their beautiful home!
